Who said bell bottoms were out of style? I absolutely love jeans that are tight from hips to knees, and all of a sudden, make a dramatic flare. Paired with a loose fitting top or even a tank top tucked in - the illusion it gives is amazing. Welcome to the tall-girl club - even if you're a fake.

I purchased this pair of Alice + Olivia Bell Bottom Jeans in white last year at Cusp [on sale :o) ] and couldn't fit in them. Until yesterday! So, I got super excited and am already attempting to pair this piece with tops. These pants go all the way up to my waist and I'm having the delicious idea of sporting a bikini top with them whenever appropriate. Love the little pockets at the front and super wide flare.

I expected so much more out of this MacBook camera.

AND this is why I could not fit into them - size 0???

I'll definitely post a mirror pic of these whenever I get around to wearing them in a complete ensemble. I understand that so many people think this look is outdated, but it is so much fun and draws great attention to the legs. Now that I've been working out and feeling a bit more confident in my skin I love to show off the shape of my legs. Even though they aren't perfect yet, the progress is enough for me to be proud of! A great pant/skirt is everything to me this Summer and I can not wait for the sexy weather to make its way into the District. We need it.

Nordstrom Rack

I have one down the street from my house and decided to stop by to stock up on my Aquilina Pink Sugar perfume. I have no idea if they are discontinuing the fragrance but on my last visit to Sephora, the sales person told me they weren't restocking. I ran across the street to Nordstrom Rack, I've seen it there a dozen and a half times, and yanked it off the shelf - just in case (hoarder much?) 

Of course...the shoe aisle was calling my name. iDie for a bit of a steal, but seeing as I have my summer semester to pay for in one week - I put my blinders on and walked through the tall rows of shoes.

Rezamou's birthday was about 2 weeks ago and while I was walking back and forth through the shops trying to find him something - obviously in the women's shoe department ??? (lol - oops!) I saw these darling booties on sale at Bloomies. Seeing as I am not all that selfish - I decided to put the money towards Reza's gifts (which he returned the next week lol) and leave the booties behind. sigh

God works in mysterious ways when it comes to shoes.

So, on my visit to Nordstrom Rack, what did I spot? The very same boots I saw at Bloomies; but, these babies were not priced at $170.00.

Doilies. Remember these?

I do. Mama used to crochet these in Albania...and I distinctly remember seeing them at a few children's birthday parties in the 90's. Loved them - even the plastic ones. Having said that, iLove how the concept has made its way into my life again.

Ralph Lauren finally cut me the right way.

The craftsmanship in this piece is to die for. I think what I'm most attracted to is the pattern. I love ribbons and find them to be so beautiful no matter how they are set up...this bag reminds me of just that. All I can do is drool. So, considering this bag will swallow my credit card whole - I'll wait till it's on sale?

Profusely Perforated 

I've also been attracted to the details in these two pieces; especially the contrast of the pierce against the white leather. I've seen imitations of these perforated bags everywhere at reasonable prices. I am adoring the BCBG clutch, though.

Kate Cut My Purse!

I bought this bag in 2010 (I think...) and love it in the Spring and Summer. This is the only bag I have that incorporates the cut out trend...notice the little flower pattern? And polka dots? Tutu cute!

In Conclusion...

So, my obsession with cut outs seems to be costing a bit too much; but, how can you not love these perforated pieces? From what I've seen - a few of us could use a cut out as arm candy rather than in our articles of clothing. Remember Ladies & Gays - a work out must target all potentially exposed body parts. Do not underestimate your rolls when sporting this trend. And in the mean time, while we all tone up and slim down - let's have the men take a peek at what we hide in our purses...rather than under our clothing.

Revitalash Update - Day 10.

Not much of a difference just yet! I've got a bit of mascara on here...they felt thicker and longer while I was applying my ink on. I was noticing a lot of irritation for about 2 days (itchy and watery eyes); but, it stopped about a day ago. I'm thinking my eyes got used to the product?
